The Role
An exciting and rare opportunity has become available to join the Century Yuasa internal IT team as our newest Infrastructure Analyst. In this position the successful candidate would be responsible for supporting the developing our IT Infrastructure ensuring maximum availability, reliability and security of our systems and communication networks.
As part of this role, you will be required to assist in identifying and implementing new technologies, creating and maintaining data, and network security. You will also provide excellent customer service to our team across Australia and New Zealand assisting them to ensure effect use of our infrastructure, technical support and training, whilst liaising as required with suppliers.
This position will work closely with our wider IT team assisting the service desk and business systems teams as required.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday from our Carole Park head office.
About you
Hold Tertiary degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Infrastructure Analysis / Systems or Network administration
Minimum 3 years' experience of systems Management (Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange Server, Windows Client SOE Development, Citrix, Xen App / Xen Desktop Management
Prior experience in supporting Linux / Unix environments
Experience with managing LAN / WAN infrastructure, platforms, & software performance
Experience with database installation, restoration, monitoring, tuning, and maintenance, preferably with Microsoft SQL Server 2014 onwards &
Experience with maintaining Hypervisors, Storage & performing critical data backups
Prior experience designing, implementing and managing network & data security
Strong customer service skills with both internal and external stakeholders
Experience with Endpoint Security and firewall software
Desirable
Microsoft Certification
Experience in Open-source solutions including; Linux – Various Distributions, Apache, MySQL and PHP Configuration, support and management, Content Management System and Scripting
