About the Role

This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of business and taxation clients within a dynamic Chartered Accounting environment. You will gain exposure to complex commercial matters while developing strong technical and advisory skills across a range of entities and industries.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of BASs, financial statements and income tax returns

• Working with companies, trusts, SMSFs and company group structures

• Assisting with tax planning and business advisory matters

• Liaising directly with clients and providing high-quality service

• Analysing financial information and assisting with strategic outcomes for clients

• Working collaboratively within a technology-driven and professional team environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in public practice accounting

• Experience preparing BASs and tax returns for:

  • Companies

  • Trusts

  • SMSFs

  • Company groups

• Strong analytical and planning skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• A strong customer service focus

• A dedicated attitude and genuine desire to succeed in Chartered Accounting

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Experience with accounting technology and cloud-based systems preferred
