About the role

Join the growing team at Crest Accounting Pty Ltd as an Intermediate / Senior Accountant. This full-time position is based in East Maitland, NSW. You will play a key role in providing high-quality accounting and taxation services to a diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing financial statements, tax returns and other accounting documents for clients, including self managed superannuation fund clients

• Assisting with tax planning and compliance activities

• Conducting research and analysis to support strategic decision making

• Providing proactive advice and recommendations to clients

• Collaborating with the broader Crest Accounting team on projects and initiatives

• Mentoring and training junior accounting staff

What we're looking for

• Post-qualification experience in public practice or commercial accounting

• Strong technical skills in tax, compliance and financial reporting

• Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities

• Problem-solving skills and a commercial mindset

• Experience supervising and developing junior accounting staff

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a related field
