About the Role
FCS is seeking qualified IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technicians for upcoming projects and ongoing maintenance works throughout Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, and surrounding NSW regions.
These full-time positions will involve work across a range of environments including maintenance, inspections, construction, shutdowns, and specialist access projects. Applicants must be based in NSW, within driving distance of the Hunter Valley, or willing to relocate..
Requirements
Current IRATA Level 3 certification
Demonstrated experience supervising rope access teams and work fronts
Current Working at Heights certification
Current First Aid certificate
Current medical and valid Australian working rights
Strong understanding of safety systems, risk management, and IRATA compliance
White Card
Current driver’s licence
Ability to lead crews and coordinate site activities effectively
Desirable Skills/Trades
Boilermaker
Rigger
Scaffolder
Fitters
Other relevant trade experience
Confined Space certification
Mining and heavy industry experience
Experience in shutdowns and maintenance environments
