Cribb Street Childcare Centre is looking for a Diploma Qualified Junior Kindy Assistant to join our Junior Kindy/Kindy room.

This role is suited to someone who has experience working with children aged 3–5 years and is confident supporting observations, planning and documentation for children’s learning.

We are a small 43-place, community-based service with smaller room sizes, consistent staffing and a supportive team. Our Junior Kindy/Kindy room focuses on strong relationships, school readiness, child-led learning, routines, independence and meaningful play-based experiences.

About you:

• Diploma qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Experience with children aged 3–5 years

• Confident completing observations, planning and learning documentation

• Warm, reliable and confident with children

• Able to support calm routines and positive behaviour guidance

• Works well as part of a team

• Values strong relationships with children, families and educators
