About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Hand to join our team at the Forster Tuncurry Boarding Kennels and Cattery in Failford, NSW. This casual position is perfect for someone with a passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing exceptional care for our furry guests.

What you'll be doing

• Ensuring the daily cleaning and sanitation of kennels and cattery facilities

• Feeding, exercising, and monitoring the health and wellbeing of the animals in our care

• Assisting with the grooming and bathing of our boarding pets

• Providing a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment for all our guests

• Maintaining detailed records and communicating with pet owners as needed

• Supporting the wider team with any other duties as required

What we're looking for

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

• Compassionate and patient nature, with the ability to handle animals of all sizes and temperaments

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

  At this stage the successful applicants' shifts will be both weekday and weekend work 7:30am-5:30pm. Weekend work is a MUST for this job, non negotiable. Shifts currently available are Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
