Carmichael Kids Early Learning and Kindergarten is a faith-based Christian not-for-profit Centre in Morayfield. We are currently seeking experienced Educators to join our team
Responsibilities of the role:
An exciting opportunity has opened up for an Educator within our Kindergarten. Our Kindergarten building is stand-alone and purpose-built containing 4 Kindergarten rooms, each run by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher. The successful applicant will:
Implement the Early Years Learning Framework
Ideally have a passion for integrating the Christian faith and character development in all aspects of our environment, reflective of the Service Philosophy
Uphold the requirements of a Child Safe Organisation and our commitment to child safety. The successful applicant will have understanding of the 10 Child Safe Standards and Universal Principle
Knowledge of QKLG
Support the development of the educational program including contributing to planning and programming and creating provocations suitable for a play-based learning environment
Ensure programs are inclusive and reflect the holistic needs of all children
Build positive relationships with parents and children
Ensure the care and development of each child in the group
Have the ability to recognise each child's individual strengths and the importance of embedding key strategies as recommended by Allied Health Professionals to support the implementation of the Strategic Inclusion Plan
Thrive when working collaboratively as a team to support holistic class needs
Position Requirements:
Valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check QLD).
Relevant ACECQA approved Qualifications.
First Aid and Anaphylaxis Training.
Asthma Management Training.
Working with Children Check.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
