About the role

Kate's Place Kindergarten and Early Learning is seeking an experienced and passionate Kindergarten Teacher - Bachelor Qualified, or Diploma Qualified and studying towards Bachelor, to join our passionate team in Middle Ridge, QLD. This is a Monday to Friday (5 day week) part-time role offering flexible work arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

• Strong understanding of early childhood development and the ability to implement engaging, play-based learning programs

• Observe and assess children's progress, and use this information to guide lesson planning and implementation

• Foster a nurturing, safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of each child

• Build strong relationships with children and their families, and communicate regularly to support each child's learning and wellbeing

• Passionate about supporting the holistic development of young children in our community

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the kindergarten program and implement best practice in early childhood education

• Comply with all relevant legislation, regulations, policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, or Diploma Qualified and studying towards Bachelor degree or Graduate Diploma.

• Minimum 2 years' full-time experience in an Early Childhood Education setting

• Demonstrated knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and ability to plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for supporting the holistic development of young children

• Valid Working with Children Check and First Aid / CPR Certificate
