About the role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Kitchen Cook/Chef to join our talented culinary team at Cafe 63' in Redcliffe, Queensland. As a fulltime member of our kitchen crew, you will play a vital role in preparing and delivering high-quality meals that delight our customers every day.

What you'll be doing

• Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking a variety of delicious and creative menu items

• Ensure all dishes are presented to the highest standards

• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic workspace

• Adhere to all food safety and health regulations

• Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to provide an exceptional customer experience

• Support the Head Chef in menu development and continuous improvement

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a cook or kitchen hand in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment

• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation

• Excellent time management and multitasking skills

• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure

• Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals

• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain

• Salary 74000 to 77000 annually

• What you'll require is:

   2 years or more in a similar position in a busy environment.

   Certificate IV or Higher Qualification related to cookery, kitchen management or

  hospitality management (preferred)

   Excellent people skills and a suitable attitude the capacity to lead, grow, and

  collaborate with a large team.

   Industry enthusiasm.

   Being able to take the initiative and lead in these practical roles a strong sense of

  finance and the willingness to go above and beyond.
