About the Roles
We have two exciting contract opportunities available within a QC Laboratory at a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company.  One role is full time and one is part time (3 days per week), both for an initial 3-month period with potential for extension.
 
You will be supporting day-to-day laboratory operations across Microbiology and/or Chemistry teams, ensuring testing activities are carried out safely and efficiently in line with GMP standards.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with routine laboratory duties including the performance of assays
• General housekeeping, stocktake, and ordering of materials and reagents
• Coordinate sample pick-ups and distribution within QC and to external labs
• Maintain and calibrate equipment; troubleshoot malfunctions as needed
• Data entry – logging samples and entering results in LIMS in accordance with approved procedures
• Ensure all records are completed and filed according to GDP/GMP requirements
• Manage stock inventory to ensure sufficient supply for testing requirements
• Participate in continuous improvement activities

 
What We're Looking For

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant scientific discipline
• Experience operating laboratory equipment
• Knowledge and practical experience of GMP and GLP
• Proficiency with Windows-based software
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and problem solve
