MK Legal Group is a boutique and innovative legal practice. We specialise in insurance litigation.  We litigate in all Australian jurisdictions with our primary focus being, Victoria, NSW and Queensland. We act for both plaintiffs and defendants.

About the Role

We currently have an opportunity available for a law graduate or a junior lawyer to join our team at our Melbourne office.

For the right candidate this role is available both part time and full time, with working from home arrangements.

In this role, you will be working closely with the senior solicitors assisting with the day to day tasks of active insurance litigation and commercial dispute matters. Depending on your experience, your role will initially involve administrative tasks, research, filing court documents and minor drafting. The right candidate will eventually be given carriage of their own litigation matters from start to settlement. The matters that you will work on will include (but not limited to), negligence, breach of contract, ACL,  intentional torts, detinue and conversion cases.

About you

The right candidate would have a law degree, or have completed their PLT, looking for a career in litigation and disputes. Previous litigation experience is advantageous but not mandatory. You will have a key eye to detail, excellent communication skills, exceptional research skills and exceptional drafting skills.

Career litigation paralegals are also encouraged to apply.
