About the Role

• Leading hand role assisting carpenters and site managers
• Roughly 70% off the tools
• Supervise and manage smaller jobs, assist on bigger jobs if a supervisor is on leave or sick.
• Manage day-to-day site operations
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades
• Drive programme and manage site sequencing
• Maintain high standards of quality control
• Enforce and uphold OH&S compliance
• Lead site meetings and communicate progress to the project team
• Foster a positive and productive site culture

Your background

• Jnr Foreman/leading hand/Junior Site manager experience
• Will look at High-End residential/ commercial or Maintenance backgrounds
• Trade qualified
• Minimum 3 years' experience in the construction industry
• Proven track record delivering projects for a head contractor is a must
• Demonstrated experience in subcontractor management, site supervision and an understanding of safety systems
• Ability to lead and push the job forward to ensure the completion of the project is on time and on budget
• Reliable, hardworking, strong work ethic and an ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to build good working relationships with subcontractors and trades.

• $90k-$115k package- $58 hourly rate (inclusive of super)
• Overtime (time and a half for first 2 hours, double time thereafter, minimum 4 hours on Saturdays)
• Projects typically in and around the Sth East
