About Us:

JME Engineering, based in Unanderra, is a company committed to the quality maintenance and servicing of all heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and cranes. Our workshop utilises modern technology and facilities, ensuring the highest standards of service.

We are looking to take on a leading hand heavy vehicle mechanic and heavy vehicle mechanics with demonstrated experience and competence in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance.

Alternatively, light vehicle/plant mechanics/auto-electricians are welcome to apply, and JME Engineering will support their transition from their current trade to a heavy vehicle mechanic via the applicable TAFE bridging course.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Trade-qualified heavy vehicle/light vehicle mechanic;

• Experience in maintaining a wide variety of heavy vehicles; and

• Able to work unsupervised and as part of a team.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Be able to use different tools and equipment to repair heavy vehicles, diagnose malfunctions and faults, test-drive vehicles, replace parts and repair heavy vehicles in line with and according to manufacturers’ specifications.
