We are looking for Trainee Machine Technicians to join our team at a large engineering workshop located in Bayswater. You don’t need a stacked resume or years of experience. If you’ve got a great attitude, a knack for fixing things, and a hunger to learn, we will pay you to become an expert.

• Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 6.00am - 2.30pm, Friday 6.00am - 12.00pm
• Temp to Perm Opportunity
• RATE: $40.71 p/h + Super + O/T Required

What a Day in the Life Looks Like
You’ll be paired up with our experienced team who will teach you everything from the ground up. You will learn how to:

• Strip down, service, and rebuild high-tech CNC machines (think precision mills, lathes, and automated routers that cut metal and materials with laser accuracy).
• Diagnose faults like a tech detective – using a mix of hands-on mechanical tools and advanced computer diagnostics to solve electrical, hydraulic, and software glitches.
• Master the tools of the trade, learn how to handle precision measuring gear (like micrometers and calipers), and keep our high-tech workshop looking sharp.
• Stay safe while working around heavy automated components (because looking after your mates is priority #1).
• Smash through your structured training blocks to understand the engineering blueprints behind these massive machines.

• The "Tinkerer" Mindset: You love messing around with cars, bikes, computers, gaming rigs, or DIY projects. You’re good with your hands.

• The Essentials: You must have a valid P-Plate or Full Driver’s License [and/or reliable transport], and full working rights in Australia.
