• Expected salary: $77,000 - $85,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Machinist to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating and maintaining machining equipment to manufacture, repair and modify metal components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual and CNC machining equipment

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and specifications

• Manufacture, repair and modify metal parts and components

• Perform precision measurements and quality checks

• Select and install appropriate cutting tools and machine settings

• Maintain machinery and ensure safe work practices

• Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines

Skills and Experience Required

• Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience

• Minimum 2 years relevant work experience preferred

• Experience operating machining equipment and tools

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Good communication and teamwork skills
