Your opportunity

1 x part-time opportunity (casual)
Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 8:00am - 2:00pm (6 hours per day) - Weekend Loadings

As a Maintenance Officer at Warriewood Brook Village, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the village-ensuring facilities, buildings and shared spaces are well maintained and presented to a high standard.

With a hands-on and proactive approach, you will:

  • Complete general repairs (e.g. doors, locks, painting, minor roofing, gutter cleaning, basic concreting, minor gardening tasks)

  • Carry out preventative maintenance to maintain village assets

  • Respond to day-to-day maintenance requests in a timely manner

  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition

  • Keep accurate records of work completed and safety procedures

  • Support a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents

  • Interact respectfully with residents, staff and contractors, representing Anglicare's values

What you'll bring

You're a practical, reliable and safety-focused professional who takes pride in your work and enjoys being part of a community environment.

You will have:

  • Previous experience in general maintenance or handyman work

  • A basic understanding of tools, materials and maintenance practices

  • A current NSW Driver's Licence

  • Sound computer and iphone skills

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach

  • Confidence working independently and managing your time

  • A commitment to safety and following procedures

  • Alignment with Anglicare's values of integrity, compassion, justice and excellence

  • Ideally, you'll also bring experience working in retirement living, aged care or similar environments.
