Our Marketing & Communications Team is on the hunt for a brand-new addition to their close-knit team, a passionate and driven Marketing Coordinator! This is a fast-paced and highly dynamic role, perfect for a naturally creative and energetic individual who thrives on variety and loves seeing their ideas to brought to life!

About the Role

At the heart of this role is the ability to strike the rewarding balance between creativity and efficiency. Working closely with internal departments and external partners, you’ll help develop impactful campaigns, promotions, activations and events, all designed to strengthen brand awareness and deepen engagement with members and guests.

You’ll be supported by the Executive Marketing Manager, Marketing & Communications and collaborate alongside a talented team comprised of two graphic designers and a digital marketer. We’re a team that genuinely values fresh thinking, encourage collaboration and champion your ideas.

A natural desire for producing high-quality work is essential, as well as the motivation to create content and campaigns that resonate with patrons, staff and the community. This is a Full-time, on-site position Monday to Friday at Dee Why RSL.

What you’ll be doing

• Coordinating integrated marketing and communications campaigns including but not limited to, promotions, food & beverage offers, community initiatives and brand activations.

• Supporting internal communications and creating relevant collateral to educate staff and patrons on upcoming promotional activities and offers.

• Briefing and liaising with graphic designers, ensuring deadlines, brand standards and compliance requirements are met.

• Managing and maintaining marketing collateral, ensuring brand consistency and quality.

• Assisting with social media content (including Meta and LinkedIn) and external communications (including email and print).

• Coordinating and overseeing event operations, including key events such as Major Promotions and Anzac Day.

• Routinely tracking campaign performance to prepare monthly marketing reports and inform upcoming promotions.

• Assisting with media relations, including enquiries, site visits and identifying PR opportunities.

• Providing general support to the Marketing & Communications team as required.

What we’re looking for

We want someone friendly, passionate about the work they produce and wants to give everything a red-hot shot. You have a keen eye for detail, a collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in the marketing industry.

• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment whilst managing competing priorities.

• Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress. Experience with EDM, CMS, or social platforms is advantageous.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• A high level of motivation, energy and a positive attitude.

• A hands-on, team-focused approach with a willingness to learn.

• A professional, approachable and customer-focused manner.
