Mercure Kooindah Waters is looking for a Marketing superstar to join the sales team. This is a part-time role with flexible working options available to work the required 22.5 hours per week. 

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for increasing revenue and also enhancing and maximizing the profile of Mercure Kooindah Waters through traditional media, direct marketing, database management, web site content management, partnering with/linking to key partner web sites, Public Relations and promotional partnerships

  • Develop and maintain the various media/PR databases of the hotel and communicate regularly regarding promotions and events

  • Marketing resort activities via Linkedin, Facebook, EDMs

  • In accordance with the budget, manage all paid media expenditure from creative to production to appearance and post-campaign assessment dealing with Accor preferred suppliers

  • Keep up to date with new initiatives in the communications sphere and implement where appropriate

  • Champion PR, Communications and Marketing activities within the business units

  • Manage and update all property based websites

  • Update all other websites including Accor.com and Accor.com.au as well as all third party websites for content and imagery

  • Keep updated all hotel collateral, imagery and arrange image library or create photography’s where appropriate

  • Setting up online ticketed events

To be considered for this exciting position, you must possess the following:

  • Previous experience in a similiar role

  • Advanced communication skills

  • Ability to maintain high and consistent standards

  • Excellent organisational skills and grooming standards
