Year Levels: Secondary (Years 7–12)

Permanency: Genuine potential for ongoing employment

• Year 7 Mathematics

• Year 9 Mathematics

• Year 10 Mathematics

• Year 11 General Mathematics

• Year 12 Mathematical Methods

• Pastoral Care (form group — year level TBC)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics teacher to join our team on a temporary basis, covering a period of parental leave. This role spans a broad and rewarding range of year levels — from junior secondary through to senior — and offers genuine variety in teaching practice.

FAITH REQUIREMENT

An active Christian faith is an essential requirement of this position.

As a Christian school, our staff are expected to model and support the values and ethos of our community. The successful candidate will hold an active, personal Christian faith and be actively and regularly involved in a local Christian church. This is a genuine occupational requirement of the position, consistent with our school's faith-based mission and applicable exemptions under anti-discrimination legislation.

REMUNERATION

Competitive remuneration is on offer. Salary will be determined in accordance with the relevant Enterprise Agreement and commensurate with the successful candidate's qualifications, experience, and classification level. We offer competitive remuneration reflective of the breadth and seniority of this role.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL

• Hold full teacher registration and qualifications in Mathematics

• Hold, or be eligible to obtain, full legal working rights in Australia

• Hold an active Christian faith and be actively involved in a local Christian church

• Build genuine and respectful relationships with students through pastoral care

• Be collaborative, flexible, and able to hit the ground running

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to student wellbeing and academic growth

• Be open to a long-term or permanent role should the opportunity arise
