Mechanical Electrician

Location: Tennyson, QLD
Pay rate: $50–$60 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 2:00pm

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Electrician to join a well-established manufacturing site in Tennyson. This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone who thrives in a fast paced industrial environment and is focused on maintaining plant reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant equipment
• Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial electrical systems
• Work on motors, drives, conveyors, and control systems
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and upgrades of plant equipment
• Collaborate with production teams to minimise downtime
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

About You

• Trade qualified Electrician (QLD Electrical Licence required)
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across electrical systems
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work on plant equipment
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to workplace health & safety
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
