Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters and Boilermakers to join a well-established maintenance contractor for ongoing site-based work across Melbourne’s Southeast.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on role suited to trade professionals who thrive in fast-paced maintenance environments and take pride in keeping plant and equipment operating safely and efficiently.

You will work across preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and continuous improvement projects within a supportive and safety-focused team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain plant and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance activities
• Attend breakdowns and perform fault finding and repairs
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and conduct root cause analysis
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance systemsly
• Promote and uphold a strong safety culture on site

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker/Welder
• Experience working on mining, quarry, or earthmoving equipment
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Welding capability (MIG and ARC)
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• A proactive attitude and commitment to workplace safety
