About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Medical Receptionist to join our clinic at Doctors at Morayfield on a Full Time basis.

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and work effectively as part of the team.

Daily tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Excellent customer service – you will be the first point of contact for our patients, in person and on the phone

• Maintaining confidentiality while managing patient records

• Processing payments, Medicare and third-party claims and reconciliations

• General administration and daily office duties 

• Duties as required by Doctors and the Practice Manager 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritise

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Professional, friendly, confident, and courteous manner

• High level of computer literacy

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a diverse team and independently

• Availability Monday to Friday across clinic opening hours (8am-5pm)

• GP experience and experience with Best Practice software will be preferred but is not essential
