Located in St Leonards Square and spread across 1,158 sqm, our St Leonards club is your go-to location for work, rest and play on the lower North Shore. Inside you'll find purpose-built spaces for Boxing, Reformer Pilates, Yoga and Grid Training (HIIT), plus a gym with strength, cardio and functional training zones. We've also catered for your post-workout-self, with luxury changeroom amenities including Dyson Supersonic™ hairdryers, ghd® straighteners and Apelles products. Your gig:
Reporting to Experience Manager you will ensure complete member satisfaction in all interactions.
In a nutshell:
You'll get to know every prospect inside-out - their goals, needs, and decision-making style - and build relationships that last.
You'll actively drum up leads through inbound inquiries, free guest passes, and by getting out into the community.
You'll connect with potential members everywhere - online, in-person, at events - and spread the word about Virgin Active's unique social wellness vibe.
You'll wow prospects with personalised consultations and tours, uncovering their wellness goals and showing them how Virgin Active can help them crush them.
You'll tailor every pitch, spotlighting our classes, programs, and community to match exactly what they need.
You'll turn interest into action, clearly sharing the benefits of joining and making the decision to sign up an easy "yes."
You'll craft the perfect membership package, handle objections like a pro, and close the deal with confidence.
You'll keep the excitement alive post-sign-up, checking in with new members and guiding them through everything Virgin Active has to offer - from classes to PT to recovery.
You'll keep admin tight and the club safe, making sure everything runs smoothly for members and teammates.
You'll always find ways to go the extra mile, especially when it's least expected (and most delightful).
All about you:
You have >1 year of relevant experience and flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule.
You have aligned experience. You know what it's like to work with a high-profile consumer brand and thrive on exceeding performance targets. You may also have some retail or hospitality sector experience. A+ for you
You are people-focused. You enjoy learning about their needs and coming up with personalised and complete solutions. You're patient, level-headed and cool under pressure. Kicking sales targets out of the park by delivering impeccable customer service makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside.
You are self-assured. You listen intently. You speak eloquently. You can explain just about anything to anyone and you're comfortable communicating at all levels. You're authentic when you express yourself. People trust your judgement.
