💰 $67.24 – $76.36 per hour + Super (inclusive of casual loading)
📅 24-Month Contract
⏰ Full Time | 37.5 Hours Per Week

We are currently recruiting for three APS6 Clinician opportunities across South East Queensland: These positions offer the opportunity to work within a highly respected national organisation supporting current and former Defence personnel and their families through evidence-based mental health services.

You will join supportive multidisciplinary teams delivering trauma-informed counselling, risk assessment, care planning and therapeutic interventions to clients requiring mental health and wellbeing support.

Key Responsibilities🧩

  • Deliver evidence-based counselling and mental health interventions

  • Conduct risk assessments, intake assessments and care planning

  • Provide individual, couple and family counselling

  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation

  • Liaise with families, stakeholders and external providers to coordinate care

  • Participate in case reviews, supervision and professional development activities

  • Support psychoeducation programs and community engagement initiatives

Requirements📝

  • Relevant qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Counselling or Nursing

  • Full AHPRA registration OR AASW membership OR PACFA/ACA registration

  • 3+ years’ experience delivering trauma-informed, holistic mental health support

  • Excellent communication, assessment and risk management skills

  • Australian Citizenship is mandatory

  • Ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance and National Criminal History Check

  • Working with Children Check or Working with Vulnerable People Check (or ability to obtain)
