About the Position

Battams NQ Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our growing automotive workshop team. We are looking for a reliable and skilled professional with strong diagnostic abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in a range of vehicles 
• Carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance work 
• Repair and replace defective engine, transmission, suspension, steering, and braking components 
• Perform vehicle inspections and testing using diagnostic equipment 
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services completed 
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with manufacturer standards 
• Work collaboratively within the workshop team to achieve high service standards  

Skills and Experience

• Relevant qualification in Motor Mechanic or equivalent 
• AQF Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or higher 
• Previous experience in automotive servicing and repairs 
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to work independently and within a team 
• Current Australian driver licence preferred
