Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic (General) to join our growing team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mechanical servicing, diagnostics, and repairs across a range of vehicles while maintaining high workmanship and safety standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Diagnosing mechanical faults in engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, braking, and electrical systems

· Performing routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light vehicles

· Conducting inspections and testing to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards

· Using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults

· Repairing or replacing defective parts and components

· Maintaining accurate service records and job documentation

· Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

· Providing professional and reliable service to custome

Skills and Experience Required

· Relevant qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent

· Minimum of 2 years’ relevant post-qualification experience as a Motor Mechanic

· Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Knowledge of Australian automotive standards and safety requirements

· Current driver’s licence preferred.
