About the role

Dents Transport is seeking an experienced Multi Combination Road Train Driver to join our team in Mareeba, Queensland. As a Multi Combination Road Train Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across long distances using a combination of heavy vehicles.

What you'll be doing

1. Operate multi-combination vehicles, including B-doubles and road trains, to transport goods across Queensland

2. Perform daily pre-start checks and maintain vehicle logs and documentation

3. Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and company safety policies

4. Provide excellent customer service and on-time delivery of goods

5. Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles as required

What we're looking for

1. A current MC (Multi-Combination) driver's licence and at least 3 years' experience driving multi-combination vehicles

2. Proven ability to safely operate heavy vehicles, including B-doubles and road trains, in a variety of road conditions

3. Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and the ability to work in compliance with all relevant legislation

4. Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to on-time delivery

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

6. Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
