Kincoppal-Rose Bay School of the Sacred Heart, founded in 1882, is a leading Catholic Independent Day and Boarding School located in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The School is co-educational ELC-6, and girls only 7-12.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate temporary Music Teacher to join our team from Term 3 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire a love of music through primarily teaching in our Junior School.
The ideal candidate:
Tertiary qualified and accredited to teach in NSW. Training and experience in Primary Education, with specialist education and skills in Music.
Prepared to support the ethos of a Sacred Heart education and be an active and visible participant in the dynamic life of our school.
Strong understanding of your subject/s areas and are a lifelong learner.
Commitment to plan and deliver each lesson to the best of your ability, ensuring that you are implementing effective teaching and learning strategies to keep each student engaged.
Ability to create and maintain an effective learning environment, where you believe in the importance of and are committed to facilitating both the personal and academic growth of our students.
Demonstrated ability to differentiate assessment practices, use data, and provide constructive feedback, so that all students have individualised learning experiences, challenges, and growth.
Strong demonstrated competency in building effective working relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.
