We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a New Cars Administration Assistant to work within our Administration team.
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-focused individual to join our administration team as a New Cars Administration Assistant. In this role you will provide essential administration support while ensuring new car transactions are processed accurately and efficiently from deal invoicing, trade-ins and floor plan administration. The administration assistant will offer administrative support for new cars providing a professional, efficient and effective service while also working closely with the administration team to produce monthly results.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the processing of new car deals in the accounting system ensuring they are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
Handle trade-ins, payouts, and acquisitions, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete
Manage vehicle floor plan payouts and ensure accurate floorplan records
Calculation of car salesman commission
Provide support to the Registration and Retail Clerk as required
Support end-of-month processing and reporting for the Sales Department
Perform general ledger and accrual reconciliations related to vehicle sales
Requirements:
Proven work experience in automotive administration or dealership accounting (desirable)
Proven work experience as administration assistance or accountant
Have strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation
Are organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Competent computer skills with intermediate competency with Microsoft office suite products
Excellent phone and face to face communication skills
Be a team player, enthusiastic and reliable
