Task & responsibilities
- Support the planning, assessment, and enhancement of office services by setting priorities and service standards.
- Coordinate and manage staff, workspace, and equipment to maintain efficient daily operations.
- Assign responsibilities to team members and monitor their performance to meet organisational objectives.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, files, and financial information.
- Liaise with professionals and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of office activities and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure office equipment, systems, and supplies are properly maintained and readily available.
- Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations.
- Ensure all office operations adhere to relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee HR-related functions including recruitment, onboarding, promotions, performance management, payroll, staff training, and supervision.
Qualification & experience
- A relevant degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a senior administrative role
- Demonstrated ability to plan, assess, and improve office operations and procedures
- Strong people management skills, including staff supervision, performance evaluation, and training
- Practical experience in HR functions such as recruitment, payroll, and employee administration
- Good knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations
- Understanding of government laws, policies, and compliance requirements
- Ability to manage office records, financial data, and administrative systems efficiently
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
