About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Open Cabler to join our growing team. We have recently secured several major projects and have a strong pipeline of work coming up, creating an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to enjoy long-term job security and career growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for installing and testing communications and security cabling across commercial, government, and industrial sites. This position is ideal for an experienced cabler or someone with a strong technical background who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of structured cabling, data, and communications systems

• Installation of security and communications cabling

• Reading and interpreting plans and specifications

• Testing, labelling, and certification of cabling

• Fault finding and troubleshooting cabling issues

• Ensuring installations meet industry standards and regulations

• Completing service reports and documentation

• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

Skills and Experience

• Current Open Cabling Registration

• Previous experience in data or communications cabling

• White Card

• Current driver’s licence

• EWP and Working at Heights tickets (advantageous)

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent work ethic and reliability
