Role Purpose

Reporting directly to the Site Operations Manager, this is a key role supporting various functions across the business. You will be providing operational and administrative assistance and be required to keep abreast of the company’s daily operations. This role is suitable for someone with a background in food production who has competent computer skills, strong attention to detail, can suggest continuous improvement processes, and is highly organised.

Key Responsibilities

· Using software systems to manage invoices and maintain supplier database

· Processing bill of materials

· Assisting with deliveries

· Creating recipes and job cards

· Managing pallet accounts

· Maintaining the database of supplier invoices

· Purchase order reports

· Relieving customer service duties a needed

· Managing site maintenance services

· Other duties as required

Skills & Attributes

· Proven ability to follow procedures and detailed instructions

· Well organised with good time management skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Reliable and consistent in completing tasks

· Prepared to do paperwork and basic administrative tasks

· Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders

Desirable Experience

· Experience in a food manufacturing, laboratory, or production environment (advantageous)

· Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene requirements (training can be provided)
