We are seeking a motivated Parks & Gardens Apprentice to join our client in a full-time traineeship opportunity.

This role is ideal for someone who has a genuine interest in horticulture, arboriculture and environmental management and is eager to build practical skills while working in the outdoors.

Duties may include:

· Assisting with general parks and gardens maintenance

· Learning to recognise cultivated plants and cultural requirements

· Maintaining hard and soft landscapes

· Operating and carrying various tools and machinery, including ride-on mowers and park irrigation systems

· Following safe work practices

· Development of individual skills and knowledge

· Assisting team members and contractors to complete set tasks

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

· Genuine interest in horticulture and environmental practices

· Strong personal work ethic

· Adaptability and flexibility

· A willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

· Active participation within a team environment

· High levels of accountability, ethics, and integrity

· Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks, where applicable

This full-time traineeship offers 38 hours per week of practical industry training and hands-on experience within a supportive team environment. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career in horticulture or environmental management.
