Preschool Room Leader

Diploma Educator / Early Childhood Teacher –

We are seeking a Diploma-qualified Educator or Early Childhood Teacher to lead our Preschool Room in a part-time role (3–4 days per week).

This position is perfect for an experienced educator who values genuine work-life balance, thrives in a supportive team environment, and is confident leading a preschool program while supporting children with diverse needs.

About the Role

• Part-time position (flexible 4-5 day week – negotiable for the right applicant)

• Lead the Preschool Room and guide a small team of passionate supportive educators

• Design and implement a high-quality, play-based program

• Support school readiness through intentional teaching and meaningful learning experiences

• Build strong, respectful partnerships with families

• Mentor and support team members within the room

• Contribute to a positive and inclusive centre culture

This role offers autonomy to lead your room while being supported by experienced management.

About You

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood

• Previous experience in a Preschool or Room Leader role (preferred)

• Strong understanding of the EYLF and NQF

• Confident leading programming cycles and critical reflections

• Experience supporting children with additional needs, challenging behaviours and neurodivergence

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Excellent professional communication skills

• Current Working With Children Check
