Physiotherapist Lead Team

Start: June - July
OneTribe Health & Fitness (OT)

OneTribe is firmly on the rehab map — and growing fast. We’re looking for an experienced Accredited Physiotherapist who delivers outstanding client care, communicates brilliantly, and can work confidently and independently while still thriving in a team environment.

This role is primarily client-facing: you’ll be assessing, prescribing, coaching, and supporting people through evidence-based exercise in our gym-based rehab setting.

Why you’ll love it

  • Lead your own work week with flexible hours

  • Reasonable KPIs that support quality care (not burnout)

  • Team environment — you’re supported, not siloed

  • Clear clinical focus: give clients an outstanding experience and help them feel better and stronger

  • Fun, evidence-based team with real momentum

  • Mentoring + leadership development as you grow with us

  • Our Locations: Newcastle West, New Lambton (coming soon), Wickham, and Nelson Bay

What you’ll do

  • Assess, measure, and design best-practice exercise and physiotherapy pathways for each client

  • Deliver 1:1 in a gym-based rehab environment (strength & conditioning focused)

  • Work across Workers’ Compensation/CTP, DVA, NDIS, and Private Health Patients

  • Build strong relationships and contribute to outreach as needed

  • Communicate effectively with GPs, employers, insurers, and support coordinators

  • Keep tidy, timely clinical notes (our systems are streamlined and largely automated)

  • Track outcomes, report progress, and celebrate wins with clients

About you

  • APRA-accredited physiotherapy (minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a physiotherapy role)

  • Strong clinical reasoning and confidence delivering exercise-based rehab

  • Great communication skills (clients + referrers)

  • Confidence running or contributing to group education/exercise sessions

  • Experience working with NDIS and/or Workers’ Compensation (highly regarded)

  • Organised and punctual; comfortable using Google Drive/Sheets

  • First Aid/CPR, full driver’s licence, and reliable vehicle

  • Must talk the walk, you need to be breathing health and fitness in and out

  • If you answered YES – That’s Me! Then we have the ideal role for you next career move!

Perks

  • Competitive remuneration

  • Mentoring, support and leadership development

  • Community events + partner activations

  • Team lunches and a genuinely enjoyable workplace culture
