CaSPA Care is a residential aged care organisation providing quality care to older people. We currently have three aged care homes, located in South Melbourne and Albert Park.
We are looking for Part Time and Full Time Physiotherapists or Occupational Therapists with a passion for working in aged care to join our team!
Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will contribute to person-centred services aligned with the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, promoting dignity, choice, wellness, and restorative care approaches.
You will be working as part of an already established allied health team and your responsibilities will include:
Conduct comprehensive functional and mobility assessments.
Develop, implement, and regularly review individualised care and reablement plans.
Deliver exercise-based and education-based interventions to support strength, balance, mobility, and independence.
Implement evidence-based pain management programs.
Develop and implement falls prevention strategies.
Support restorative and reablement approaches that enable consumers to achieve their personal goals and maintain functional capacity.
Provide ongoing education and support to care staff regarding mobility, safe practice, and resident wellbeing.
Deliver manual handling training and contribute to safe workplace practices.
Collaborate effectively with residents, families, carers, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards and the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
A relevant degree and recognised qualification in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
AHPRA Registration
In-depth AN-ACC knowledge desirable
Experience as a Physiotherapist or OT in Aged Care desirable
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
