The Role

We're on the hunt for an experienced, passionate, and hands-on Pizza Maker to run the heart of the business

This isn't just a Pizza making gig. You'll be overseeing prep, managing staff, refining recipes, improving kitchen systems, and making sure our pizzas hit the standard every single time. You'll work closely with the owner and help shape what Pizza Plenty becomes next.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead daily pizza operations with a focus on quality, speed, and cleanliness
Prepare and cook pizza to spec (you'll know how to stretch dough like a boss)
Oversee dough management, fermentation, and batch tracking systems
Maintain consistent food presentation and portion control
Train, mentor, and roster kitchen staff
Monitor food costs, minimise waste, and ensure inventory is well managed
Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant kitchen environment
Work closely with front-of-house to ensure service runs smoothly
Contribute to new menu ideas, specials, and seasonal changes

About You

• Proven experience in a similar role

• Deep knowledge of pizza dough (preferably fermentation-based methods)

• Can lead a team under pressure during high-volume service

• Able to set and maintain high standards without cutting corners

• Reliable, proactive, and solutions-focused

• A communicator who thrives in a close-knit team

• Food Safety Supervisor Cert preferred (or willing to obtain)
