West Moonah Community Preschool is an out-of-scope preschool situated in the grounds of the West Moonah Neighbourhood House in Springfield Avenue West Moonah. We operate Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during school terms with classes running from 9am to 2.30pm. Our group size is up to a maximum of 16 children with two Early Childhood Educators.

Our program runs in line with the Early Years Learning framework focusing on children meeting development milestones, school readiness, independence, confidence, self-regulation, creativity and a love of learning in a supportive environment.

Our Preschool is registered with the Department of Education under the Child Care Act 2001 and licenced with the ‘Early Childhood Outcomes and Regulation (ECOR) Unit.

Due to staffing movements, we are looking to engage with a part-time Diploma qualified, Preschool Educator, for a total of 11 hrs per week over 2 days under the Children’s Services Award Level 5. Potential for 3 days per week in the new year.
