North Mackay, 4740, Mackay, Queensland
Full time

We're a locally owned, 40-year-strong technology and print services business in North Mackay. We service businesses across the Mackay region and beyond, and the person in this role is the engine that keeps our print service team running smoothly.
This is a role for someone who takes ownership of their day, stays on top of a busy workload, and finds genuine satisfaction in having everything running smoothly, without needing someone to keep them on track.
About the role
As our Print Service Coordinator, you're the central link between our customers and our technical team. When a customer has a print issue, you're the first point of contact. You'll log the job, schedule the right technician, keep the customer informed, and make sure everything from billing through to parts ordering is handled accurately and on time.
When something changes, a technician calls in sick, a job gets escalated, priorities shift, you adapt, reschedule, and keep things moving without missing a beat. Occasionally you'll flex across to support our ICT service coordination team when needed.
This role suits someone who genuinely enjoys the rhythm of a busy, structured day and takes quiet pride in having everything under control.
Day to day you'll be:
Answering inbound service calls and logging jobs accurately
Scheduling and dispatching technicians to customer sites
Keeping customers updated on job status throughout
Rescheduling and reprioritising when the unexpected happens
Processing invoices, toner orders and warranty claims as required
Supporting stock receipting and purchasing tasks when needed
Supporting the wider service team with administrative tasks as needed
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
Experience in a fast-moving scheduling or coordination role, medical reception, automotive service advising, or trades/electrical/plumbing scheduling are all great fits
Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
A calm, professional phone manner, you're often the voice our customers hear first
The ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball
Confidence working independently and owning your day
Intermediate Microsoft Office and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
A background in print or IT is not required, we'll train the right person. What we can't train is attitude, reliability, and the ability to stay on top of a busy workload without being told to.
What's in it for you:
$60,000 – $70,000 per year + super (depending on experience)
Monday to Friday — no weekends, no shift work
Stable, full-time role with a business that's been part of the Mackay community for over 40 years
A small, professional team that values people who take ownership of their role
Genuine long-term opportunity with a growing business
You must have full working rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
To apply: Submit your resume and a brief cover note telling us about a role you've held where you managed competing priorities and kept things on track. We want to know how you work, not just where you've worked.
