Lead Production Performance Across a Growing Manufacturing Operation

Evolution Precast is a leading precast concrete manufacturer delivering major infrastructure, commercial, and industrial projects across NSW. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead site production operations and drive operational performance across our manufacturing facility.

This is a key leadership role responsible for achieving production schedules, improving productivity, driving labour efficiency, and ensuring safe, high-quality manufacturing outcomes.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Manager will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of site production operations.

You will lead production teams to ensure all products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in line with project delivery programs. The role requires strong leadership capability, operational discipline, and a proactive approach to improving workflow, labour utilisation, production efficiency, and overall site performance.

You will work closely with Project, Reinforcement, Logistics, Quality, and operational support teams to ensure production targets and client expectations are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all site production operations

• Take ownership of the daily production program and coordinate operational priorities to ensure project delivery requirements are achieved

• Drive improvements in productivity, labour utilisation, workflow efficiency, and operational performance across the manufacturing operation

• Coordinate labour, equipment, and resources to maximise output and production efficiency

• Promote and enforce strong safety, quality, and housekeeping standards across all production activities

• Work closely with Project, Reinforcement, Logistics, and operational support teams to optimise production flow and delivery outcomes

• Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions where required

• Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors and operational teams

• Drive accountability and high-performance culture across production operations

• Support operational reporting, KPI tracking, and performance improvement initiatives

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving productivity, and increasing operational efficiency

You are an experienced manufacturing or production leader who thrives in fast-paced operational environments. You have strong leadership capability, excellent operational awareness, and a proven ability to improve productivity and team performance.

You are hands-on, solutions-focused, and capable of building accountability and strong operational culture within production teams.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a Production Manager or senior manufacturing leadership role

• Strong understanding of production planning, workflow management, and operational performance

• Demonstrated success improving labour productivity, operational efficiency, and manufacturing performance

• Experience managing large operational teams within manufacturing, precast, construction, or industrial environments

• Strong safety and quality focus with the ability to drive operational accountability

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Experience driving lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence initiatives, with a strong focus on improving productivity, labour utilisation, workflow efficiency, and overall production performance, will be highly regarded
