The Position
We are looking for a motivated, experienced Proposal Manager to fill a crucial role within our dynamic Bids and Contracts team.
As the Proposal Manager you will be responsible for the management and preparation of high-quality and compliant tenders, proposals, contract change proposals, and quotes.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, manage and coordinate the resourcing, preparation, approval and submission of responses to Request for Tenders, Request for Quotes, Expressions of Interest, Contract Change Proposals and requests for Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) proposals, and general quotes.
Manage the Proposal Team assigned to bid related tasks.
Prepare proposal management plans, briefs and resource estimations. Coordinate bid/no bid discussions.
Assist the Bids and Contracts Manager to prepare briefs and reports for the Executive and the Board of Directors.
Develop and maintain appropriate connections with Program and Project Officers within Defence and other Government departments for upcoming tenders.
Assist the Contract Negotiation Team.

Our Ideal Candidate
Proposal management, planning, scheduling and cost estimation skills, as required, for the management of complex proposals
Strong commercial acumen
Self-starter, driven and proactive
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and self-reliant
Ability to lead meetings and to coordinate proposal team activities
Defence industry experience is preferable
Detailed knowledge of ASDEFCON – desirable but not required
Eligibility
An Australian Citizen;
Eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA clearance – Negative Vetting 1.
