An established and growing electrical and communications business on the Central Coast is seeking a qualified electrician to join their team in a long-term, stable position.

The role offers exposure to a variety of domestic, commercial, and industrial projects, along with the opportunity to progress into a senior position and eventually lead Level 2 ASP works as the business continues to expand.

• General domestic, commercial, and industrial electrical installations and maintenance
• Fault finding, diagnostics, and problem solving
• Data, communications, and CCTV installations
• Mentoring and supporting apprentices onsite
• Maintaining strong safety standards and compliance
• Representing the business professionally with clients and onsite teams
• Completing onsite quotes and identifying additional sales opportunities
• Working independently and taking ownership of projects

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current Electrical Licence
• Solid domestic electrical experience
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capabilities
• Knowledge of current electrical standards including AS/NZ3000 and NSW SIR requirements
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Ability to work well within a small team environment
• Confidence mentoring apprentices and junior staff
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable using technology, digital systems, and modern tools
• A long-term mindset with interest in career progression

Applicants with existing Level 2 ASP accreditation will be highly regarded and remunerated accordingly.

• Competitive hourly rate: $40 - $60 per hour depending on experience
• 38-hour work week
• Company vehicle and fuel card provided
• Company iPad and uniforms supplied
• Bonus and commission opportunities from completed onsite quotes and sales
• Ongoing training and support for Level 2 ASP qualifications
• Clear pathway into senior leadership and managing Level 2 works
• Primarily local Central Coast work - no regular Sydney or Newcastle commuting
