Our Client in Roseville requires the services of an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer.

Position Overview:

The Quality Assurance Engineer will develop, implement, and maintain technical quality assurance processes, testing frameworks, and ICT governance standards to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of the company's technology systems.

This role involves conducting structured system testing, troubleshooting and diagnosing software and infrastructure issues, performing system audits, and ensuring ICT solutions align with organisational standards. The position supports property management, leasing, automation workflows, cloud platforms, financial reporting, and AI-driven digital assistants across the business.

Task & responsibilities

• Conduct quality audits and inspections of ICT systems, applications, and infrastructure to ensure compliance with organisational and governance standards.

• Analyse system data, logs, workflows, and technical documentation to identify high-risk areas, control weaknesses, or non-compliance with quality standards.

• Develop and execute structured test plans, test cases, and protocols for software, cloud platforms, AI assistants, reporting tools, and automation workflows.

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical faults, functionality errors, and performance issues across applications, databases, cloud systems, networks, and security infrastructure.

• Perform root cause analysis for system failures, recommend corrective actions, and ensure follow-up on remediation activities.

• Support organisational system architecture reviews, recommending current and future hardware, software, and infrastructure strategies to ensure scalability, efficiency, and security.

• Maintain technical documentation, including procedural guides, operational manuals, test reports, system configurations, and quality assurance records.

• Liaise with management, product, and operations teams to communicate quality standards, system performance, and corrective actions.

• Provide guidance and training to internal users on ICT systems, operational procedures, and quality assurance practices.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and promote adherence to ICT governance frameworks and quality standards.

Qualification & experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in quality assurance, systems testing, ICT support, or technical analysis.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, ICT governance, system diagnostics, and quality assurance frameworks.
• Experience troubleshooting application software, databases, cloud infrastructure, operating systems, and security systems.
• Understanding of risk identification, compliance, and ICT control frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional technical and business teams.
