Medical Centre Practice Nurse – RN (Part-time, Casual)

With over 30 healthcare professionals, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality patient care.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, compassionate Part-time and Casual Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dedicated team.

This role offers flexible shift hours between 8 am and 9 pm, 7 days/week.

**Part-time applicants must be available for at least 2 weekdays and 1 weekend shift.

About the role: This position will give you the opportunity to undertake a variety of medical, administrative and nursing tasks as required working with both GPs and Specialists.

You will be expected to be comfortable to work both independently and as a team member, in:

-Patient Triage

-Wound Management

-Minor procedures (i.e. cyst removal, iron infusion)

-Chronic Disease Management (incl. Care Plan and Health Assessment)

-Immunisation (incl. Covid-19 vaccines)

-Cold Chain Management

-Pre-Employment Medical Checks

-ECG, Spirometry, Holter monitor

-Ear Irrigation

-Infection Control and Sterilisation

-Patient Education

-Recalls and Reminders Management

-Quality Improvement Activities

-Practice Accreditation

The successful applicant must hold a current AHPRA registration and full-time working right in Australia.

Requirements:

-Current AHPRA registration

-Professional Indemnity Cover

-National Police Check and Working with Children Check (NSW)-WWCC

-First Aid and CPR certificate

-Basic infection control certificate

-Hand hygiene certificate

-Cold chain management certificate

-Covid-19 vaccination training certificate

-Indigenous identification training certificate

-Yellow fever vaccination certificate

-Intermediate computer skills

-Excellent communication skills

Desirable:

-Minimum of 1-year experience as a RN (Preferred)

-Immunisation certificate or willing to obtain

-Ear and Hearing Health certificate or willing to obtain

-Cannulation and venepuncture certificate or willing to obtain
