About the role

Greenstaff Medical is seeking an experienced Operating Theatre Nurses to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. This is a casual role, offering the flexibility to fit around your lifestyle. As a Scrub/Scout or Anaesthetics nurse, you will play a vital part in the delivery of high-quality surgical care to our patients.

What you'll be doing

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures

• Assisting surgeons and the wider surgical team in the operating theatre

• Monitoring patient vital signs and responding promptly to any changes

• Ensuring a sterile and safe environment in the operating theatre

• Accurately documenting all patient care and interventions

• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients

What we're looking for

• Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration

• Minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Perioperative Nurse(Scrub/Scout & Anaesthetics)

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Valid working rights in Australia

• Screening: WWCC and Police Check

• Annual Competencies(BLS/CPR, Manual Handling, Infection Control and other relevant to the role)

• Excellent Pay Rates: $80 – $101/hour* (private hospitals).
