We are seeking a motivated and committed Registered Nurse to join our team at Greensborough.
Samkay Health is currently seeking applications from dedicated and experienced Registered Nurses (Division 1) to provide care to our residents in an individual, flexible, and customer-focused manner.
Current AHPRA registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse is required at the time of application.
This opportunity will provide 2-4 shifts a week.
Applicants must have valid Australian work rights, including citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa.
Clinical Leadership & Care Delivery
Provide full clinical oversight of your team while on shift, ensuring compliance with the 24/7 Registered Nurse requirement
Deliver high-quality nursing care meeting the mandated care minutes of direct RN care per resident per day
Oversee all specialized nursing care with a hands-on approach focused on customer service and leadership
Demonstrate resident advocacy while ensuring dignity of residents in your care under the new Statement of Rights
Documentation & Compliance
Complete all clinical reporting and documentation to meet Aged Care Act 2024 and Aged Care Rules 2025 requirements
Ensure consistent compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and Samkay Health policies and procedures
Maintain excellent documentation skills, reporting, and note-keeping
Work with AN-ACC Funding model requirements and documentation
Team Management & Safety
Attend staff training and provide support to all care staff
Ensure all staff adhere to safe practices and follow all WHS requirements
Work closely with Management to maintain quality standards and regulatory compliance
Foster reliability, flexibility, and positive team culture in a busy aged care environment
Family & Stakeholder Engagement
Handle case conferencing and family liaison with empathy and professionalism
Maintain polite and empathetic communication with residents, families, and colleagues
Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities in complex care situations
Knowledge & Experience
Knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
Understanding of the new Aged Care Act 2024 and associated obligations
Prior experience and understanding of AN-ACC Funding model
Understanding of the Australian Aged Care accreditation process
Experience working in aged care settings
Minimum of 1-2 years experience working in aged care settings is required
