We are a Tourism Queensland award-winning boutique property perfectly positioned on vibrant Hastings Street, just moments from the iconic Noosa Main Beach, and we are seeking an experienced, motivated and passionate Resort Manager to lead our close-knit team and play a pivotal role in the continued success of the business.

As Resort Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations and financial performance of the resort while ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable and personalised experience. You will be the driving force behind operational excellence, owner satisfaction, team leadership and the ongoing presentation and improvement of the property.
This dynamic role offers plenty of variety and autonomy, with responsibilities spanning guest relations, team management, revenue performance, maintenance coordination and operational support across departments when required. No two days are the same, making this the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys being actively involved in all aspects of resort operations.

Key Responsibilities
Day to day running of 26 unit complex
Hands on manager responsibilities
Guest services and reservations
Ensure there is a culture of excellent customer service throughout the resort
Ensure the caretaking agreement is adhered to and all obligations are met
Owner & body corporate relations
Building maintenance management
Human resources- recruitment, training and development
Financial services including payroll and trust accounting
On call management duties
Rate optimization and revenue management along with identifying and implementing additional revenue generating opportunities
Continually reviewing and implementing cost-saving initiatives
Business reporting
Fire warden
The successful applicant MUST HAVE the following attributes:
Previous experience in a Resort Manager, Hotel Manager or senior supervisory role
Knowledge of strata property hotels (preferred)
Strata property software experience (preferred) – Resly experience (desirable)
Accounting software experience (preferred)- Xero experience (desirable)
Exceptional customer service skills and an outgoing personality
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Excellent organisational, administrative and time management skills
Well presented and highly professional
Ability to work autonomously and make operational decisions confidently
Flexibility to work across departments when required
Positive “can do” attitude with strong problem-solving skills
