Task & responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Gathering, compiling, and analysing sales data to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
- Monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators, including sales growth, conversion rates, and revenue performance
- Assisting with the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and pricing analysis, including sourcing and quoting rates
- Conducting market research to understand customer preferences, industry trends, and market conditions
- Analysing competitor strategies and market positioning to support business development initiatives
- Preparing monthly sales and performance reports for management and liaising closely with sales teams
- Providing recommendations and insights to improve sales performance and business strategies
- Identifying inefficiencies within sales processes and recommending improvements to optimise operational performance
Qualification & experience
To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- The ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Experience within the freight forwarding or logistics industry will be highly regarded.
