The business operates through a consultative showroom and project delivery model involving customised client engagement, long-cycle sales processes, coordination with internal production and operational teams, and ongoing relationship management with residential and commercial stakeholders.
Due to continued business growth, increasing showroom enquiries, expanding project-based client engagement requirements, and ongoing commercial demand, the business requires an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to oversee sales and customer engagement activities, support business growth initiatives, manage showroom-based commercial operations, and contribute to the continued expansion of the business within the Melbourne market.
The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for the operational management of sales and marketing activities associated with customised furniture solutions, showroom consultation processes, customer engagement activities, and project-based sales operations.
The role requires a commercially experienced professional capable of managing client relationships, coordinating sales and marketing activities, supporting ongoing business growth initiatives, and contributing to the development of long-term commercial opportunities across residential and commercial environments.
This is a senior client-facing role requiring strong communication capability, commercial awareness, organisational skills, independent judgement, and the ability to manage complex client requirements and commercial discussions within a customised showroom and project environment.

- Conduct client consultations regarding customised furniture requirements, materials, finishes, project specifications, and fit-out solutions
- Coordinate customer enquiries, quotations, pricing discussions, and commercial proposals aligned with project and client requirements
- Monitor sales performance, customer engagement activities, lead generation outcomes, and project pipeline opportunities
- Support development and implementation of sales and customer engagement initiatives aligned with business growth objectives
- Coordinate marketing activities across digital platforms, showroom promotions, client engagement channels, and business development activities
- Maintain and expand existing client accounts while identifying new commercial and project-based opportunities
- Coordinate with internal production, logistics, and operational teams to support accurate delivery of client specifications and project requirements
- Support showroom presentation standards and customer experience activities
- Coordinate follow-up activities associated with customer enquiries, quotations, and project discussions
- Prepare sales reports, CRM updates, client engagement records, and operational documentation
- Represent the business professionally during showroom consultations, project discussions, and commercial engagement activities - Support ongoing market development activities within the customised furniture and fit-out sector
Qualifications
- Qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, Management, Commerce, or a related discipline is highly regarded
- Substantial directly relevant industry and operational experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Extensive senior-level experience within sales management, marketing management, business development, showroom operations, or client-facing commercial environments
- Proven experience operating within consultative sales environments involving customised products, project-based solutions, or long-cycle commercial engagements
- Strong capability managing commercial negotiations, quotations, pricing discussions, and long-term customer relationships
- Experience working with customised products, furniture, fit-out solutions, manufacturing environments, construction-related products, or commercial product environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage sales and client engagement activities independently within a senior operational role
- Experience coordinating with operational, production, logistics, or project teams
- Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and organisational skills
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer relationship management processes
- Experience supporting business growth, customer acquisition, and commercial relationship development activities
