Sales Operations Specialist

About the Role

This is an opportunity to join a growing technology and business transformation consultancy, combining a managed services and solutions offering. The role sits at the intersection of sales support and operational delivery, working closely with sales, delivery, and finance to ensure deals progress smoothly, customers are retained, and internal processes run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Coordination (Commercial Focus)
  • Take ownership of customer renewals, tracking upcoming dates, engaging clients early, and ensuring no revenue is lost
  • Support the sales team across qualification, opportunity management, and follow-ups
  • Identify and align existing customers with relevant cloud and productivity solutions, particularly across Microsoft technologies
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and ensure strong pipeline visibility across internal and partner systems
  • Coordinate quotes, proposals, and order processing using quoting tools, ensuring speed and accuracy in documentation
Operations & Procurement
  • Manage end-to-end processing of hardware and software orders, coordinating with vendors to meet delivery timelines
  • Submit and track orders through vendor portals and partner ecosystems
  • Support project delivery through procurement of equipment and coordination of logistics for installations
  • Maintain internal trackers, including accreditations and partner program requirements
  • Act as a central point of contact to remove operational blockers and keep deals and projects progressing
Collaboration with Offshore Support
  • Work alongside an offshore back-office team responsible for administrative support such as proposal generation and procurement processing
  • Provide onshore oversight, guidance, and commercial context
  • Focus locally on higher-value, customer-facing and commercially driven activities
About You
  • 2+ years’ experience in sales coordination, sales support, or sales operations, ideally within IT, telecommunications, or a technology services environment
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing tasks
  • Comfortable balancing commercial engagement with operational responsibilities
  • Confident communicator, able to engage customers and vendors directly when required
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g. Dynamics 365, Salesforce) and quoting tools; exposure to vendor portals is beneficial
  • Familiarity with Microsoft or telecom partner ecosystems is advantageous but not essential
  • Motivated by growth and development, with a long-term interest in building a career in sales operations or pre-sales
